How much are they now and where can I get them? People keep mentioning some guy named "DaveB" ? Who is he and what's his number? For the four who have put this mod on, was it worth the money?? Thanks

I have it bolted on the car but not wired up (can't really tell you about the lighting), but I definitely have to say the headlight assemblies make the car look fierce. Check the Parts List thread for DaveB's contact info.

hahahahaha

so THERE IS a Y2Kev wiring method..

its *VERY* simple, no relays, no flashing problem, no splicing, no realignment!!! However, only approved for daytime driving (and no turning!)..

It actually did mod something besides aesthetics... now I have quick blinking rice rear turn signals.

Had to drive "Slo' Ka" (slow car, aka PokeMax) to work this morning.

These lights ARE DEFINATELY worth it! I got mine for 204$ a side, plus wiring harnesses about 75$. After my install, I got a lot of people asking me if I could get some more and I CAN!!

For $675 I can sell you the pair of 2K2 headlights. (since theyve gone up to over a grand) email me and we can arrange something.

Before the headlights, I NEVER got any looks, i.e. just a plain old import car. NOW with HID's (and also remember a more aggresive housing unit) I see a whole bunch of people taking a double take, to check them out. Changed the whole care if you ask me.

daveb is a maxima.org member who deals part for Town North Nissan somewhere in Texas. he'll get you a good price break on any oem parts you need, plus he's super friendly. reach him at: 512.451.7411

he won't be able to sell the HIDs at the old price however, since nissan corp upped the price. the only one i've seen online so far who can still get them for less than the new cost of $1400/pr is dromed who is selling them for $675.

are they worth it? HELL YEAH. no comparison to aftermarket bulbs. unbelievable difference. certainly worth the money/time invested. i think everyone else will agree. @ 675, it just depends on how much money you've got. i'm a po boy so i'm happy
