russ's foglight writeup isn't available right now and i'm trying to switch out the h3 bulbs in there.

i've removed the stock headlamps looking directly down at the fog lamp housing. i've also removed the splash guard to access underneath it as well. i've removed the retaining bolt on the bottom side of the foglight. but now i'm stuck. i can't seem to move the thing or remove any of the backside black housing. i see some metallic posts sticking out the back of the fog housing which are encased in some white plastic clips of some sort.

where do i go from here???

help please...

i think you are at the point where you start banging and pushing against the back of the housing. Try and knock it out of there and make sure you catch the housing when it pops out. I takes a bit of force to get it out of there.

Once you remove the screws and disconnect the plug, you PUSH on a post from the back and get ready for when it pops out the front of the bumper.

thanks guys. i managed to get them swapped out. i can't imagine how did it without removing the headlights. it allows you so much more leverage. in any case, it's done now.
