I headed down to Atlanta Motor Speedway for a day of the NOPI Nationals. I saw a little bit of everything and a ton of rice. The entire infield of the race track was filled with show cars and vendors.

I saw race cars, company sponsor vehicles, exotic cars, a Viper, lowriders, "The Fast and The Furious" Maxima, and a few 5th Gen Maximas I had not seen before. At the dyno setup, I saw a Supra throw down a 399. I filmed the run with the camera.

I took over 300 pictures of just about every type of thing and 5~10 videos.

I've posted three of the pics: (1) The side of the "Furious" Maxima (2) Some black 5th Gen with a funky body kit (3) nvmymax2's "flamed" 5th Gen, which drew alot of looks.

I was very unimpressed by that maxima from the fast and the furious..

#1. Those gay chrome rims, he should have left on the Motegi Ro_ja's that arent available to the public yet

#4. It said on the window stickers that he had 231HPs, with an S/C, isn't that weak????

Oh well, I took like 100 pictures, a bunch of all the maxs, especially Shadow, I couldnt find tony's max.. but I'll post a link in the 5thgen, 4thgen, and 3rdgen forum when I get them developed.

 

People have discussed the FATF Maxima. It supposedly has something like 265HP. Maybe they changed stuff since then to get it down to 231HP. Yes, that is pretty weak.

I think most people are just happy that a Maxima was present in a major motion picture.

 

i love the flames where can i get them on mine exactly like that... whose car was it? i wanna email him to find out more info... are those decals or its painted on? lemme know

The flames belong to 1MAX2NV . I believe they were vinyl decals.

Tony's car is a tan 4th gen. The flamed 5th gen guys screen name is mentioned at the beginning of the post.

TheBigSadler: Tony's car was parked way over in the grass with his club on the first day, the second day he came over and parked with the other maximas.

 

The graphics came from Modern Imagein california. I had them custom designed so I could try to be unique.
