I want to buy an exhaust system(y-pipe) but I don't know what to get I looked at the old post and still don't know.Stillen,Cattman,try to get a custom one made.I would like to buy one now someone pls help.

alot of ppl are leaning towards catman, they make jet hot y-pipes, stillen doesn't. i say go catman and thermal wrap the pipe prior to installation.

I am leaning more toward the catman but wanted to see what you guys thought before I bought it.Any thoughts on the Stillen exhaust?

Thanks for all the help I think I will order the cattman to day.Did anyone do their own installtion and how involved was it ?Did it come with everything I will need ?

O Boy No.. Cattman didn't send me the gaskets til after I had the pipe already put in. If U have the 2K Fed Emissions send me an Email and I'll send U the Crush Gaskets. The Gaskets from the cat U can reuse. I got a new one b/c I didn't know until I took the pipe down. took me an hour to put the pipe in.. just needed 2 extra hands to hold the stock pipe while I screwed it down. be careful with the O2 sensors.. especially the one in the rear part. The install is Easy. Need deep sockets for the screws. need a Universal Joint for the screws under the rear section b/c they stock pipe is in a awkward location. need plenty of WD-40 to get the rust off the factory bolts. if U need help Email me.

liquid wrench works alot better.
