Tail light mod.

Since everyone is buying the 2002 tail lights. I want something different. Does anyone have a different tail light mod? I'm going to try and Photoshop something new, but until then I want to see your tail light mod! Thanks Eric

Ask Kev!

Kevin....where are you!?

He made about 30 different variations of what could be done...I want to make the lights round and red...not oval and paint the black part white! I saw someone elses on here a long time ago...and it looked kick azz!

You could install 1st generation (1981) tail lights and plug the gaps with duct tape. I don't know how it would look, but it would be different.

Offtopic, when you gonna install that stereo equipment in your SIG? I think I seen that stuff down there and according to you in your bedroom for months, I would be ITCHING to get that stuff in and hear it in my car. Come on now, get a MOVE ON.

I was trying to make it clear.

The stero stuff is still in my room I decided to spend my money on the paint/install/purchase of my body kit first.
Pluss I am deciding on weather or not to put a TV on the top of the vents and 1 in each headrest. Body kit is goin on this week though!

You can paint the area around the lights body color. It would probably only look good on darker color cars though.

Not Bad at all. But I don't think it will look good on my Sterling Mist.

I have this crazy idea, anyone ever painted taillights? What if to paint the taillights in body color leaving the circle in center clear..

Lexus style...

I have SERIOUSLY thought about making a mod to make the tails look like those on many new cars, especially a Lexus SUV I was behind last week. They use a clear tail, with one small red center bulb surrounded by an array of LEDs. Looked sharp.

Anyone else?

It doesn't use LEDs, just the lens shaping. I like those altezzas though.

I like what some guys on here have done, just paint the lower half moon (turn signal) red (with the black SE surround). I'd do that, but I have the GXE/GLE lights and all red with a white dot for a backup light would look weird.

I'd like to see someone with GT-R R34 taillights on their Maxima. I love the look of the four separate round red lights. Not like on the new Impalas, where it's one solid bar of glass with the lights underneath, ugly!

Yeah, my friend painted his lights with transparent model paint. He thought it looked great. I thought it looked stupid. But then, who am I. Right???
