Installed 2k2 HID, slight problems...

Hmm, not sure what to do then if that will not work. Somehow when the HID circuit is active, the relay works properly. When its not active somehow I cannot get the HB circuit to deactivate. Somehow there is something still sorta active to allow me to close but not open the relay.
I am going to go to the Nissan relay and harness for weatherability and some stealth as well. Tim pointed me that way, little more expensive but will clean up some of my messy wiring...

I'm going to try and scan 2maxguys' schematic and post it, since it theoretically will fix the ALARM flashing the HIDs plus work the same way as the current setup.

BTW I like em a lot. Thanks for all the help.
Added BONUS!!
I just noticed today that I can control the driving lamps (fog lamps) completely independant of all controls! I like that feature...Only downside to it is I have to remember to turn off the fogs!

Question for 2maxguy. So with your wiring, did u fix the bugs, like the flashing HB indicator and the flashing of the LB when the alarm is setoff? Did u use Icey2k1's writeup? Cuz I'm in the process of having my lights installed this weekend. Thanks.
bah!!!
Fog light rewire? smart something-or-other? Brights relay sticking??? I give up.. who wants some HIDs?
I'm going under the freakin hood tonite with relays and fluke in hand. If I cant figure all this stuff out, I dont know if I'll join the 'club'

With this setup, the lowbeams stay on when highbeams are put on, no HB indicator flicker and under alarm condition only HB's flash. The only issue is when its dark and you turn the light switch from off through auto, the HID's want to strike. Otherwise I'm happy with this setup.
What do u mean the HID wants to strike? So u manage to wire it so that the hi beam flashes when the alarm goes off. cool. I'm plannin to do that too. Did u use relays? Would it be possible for you to draw up an outline of ur wiring schematic? Thanks a lot for the info.
