How to remove 3rd brake light and rear deck
#3
two things:
1) brake light bulb blown so i need to remove the 3 brake light as a min for now.
2) i have a lot of vibration at the back there, i glue a few blue blokcs in place, but something else rattles, so i want to pull it off and epoxy anything that moves

Rear Deck
My deck rattled pretty bad in my Camry so I had to do the same thing. I am looking to get a Maxima, therefore in this forum. If a Maxima is anything like a Camry in back (they look similar in assembly), then it is a bit difficult to remove the deck, but not the light. For the cover, if there are no visible clips, try pushing the bottom by the deck cloth towards the back window and up at the same time. It should just pop off. Then you will see some bolts or screws holding the whole assembly in place.
The rear deck is a bit more difficult. Remove the whole rear brake light assembly as noted above. Remove the rear seat bottom by pushing towards the back of the car and up (it takes a bit of strength). From there, there are bolts on either side holding the side bolsters of the rear seats in place. Remove those bolts, then take out the side bolsters. From there you will see a series of screws or bolts by the trunk opening that were under the bolsters. Remove these. The rear deck should then be able to be removed. Good luck.
Glue or tape the hell out of everything, and wire-tie anything loose to other bundles. I also got foam egg crate material (for under a mattress) and cut it to size, with speaker holes and other openings. The rear deck will fit much more tightly then. Install in reverse and cross your fingers.
