Anyone have these tires or know anything about them? They are expensive but they are the best rated all season on tire rack for the 17 inch tires.

After how many miles should you replace your tires anyway?

I am also interested in these tires. Not many choices if you want to stay with the stock 225/50-17's. I've always had very good luck with Michelins.

How many miles your tires will last depends on how you drive and how well you maintain the tires (eg: not having them ever be under-inflated). I do mostly highway driving and check tire pressure weekly (or when there is a major change of air temperature). I have 25k on my tires, having rotated them at 20k. Still have 60% of the tread left. Since I will replace before they hit the wear markers, I figure I should get 45 to 50k out of the set of 4.

I agree with Jnovember, the stock if driven normally, NOT RACED OR BURNOUTS, should easily last a good 40-50k. With all the condition he stated.

I replaced the Toyos on my Max with a set of Michelin Pilot XGT. Much more mature ride (not as harsh as the Toyos), dry traction is quite good and wet traction is great. They suck up water on the roads and refuse to hydroplane.....during heavey thunderstorms I travel 15-20mph faster then traffic that still driving on the verge of hydroplane. Michekins are expensive....but I consider them well worth the cost

I have a set of Michelin Pilot XGTZ4's waiting to be installed. My car has about 25k but the stock tires feel like crap. I feel they can probably last another 10-15k. I'm looking @ buying a set of SSR GT1's for them. If i don't get the wheels soon I will install the tires b4 the car hits 30k. As soon as i install them I will let u guys know how they feel. If u look @ the TIRERACK's pricing, the price is pretty competitive.
