2K2 Alarm Fix WRITE UP is done.

Well here it is for you folks out there that needed it. I made it AS DETAILED for you people that are not too "electronical." If you have any questions, email me.

ICE and 2MaxGuy, Let me know if I am incorrect in the writeup. I dont know much about relay's, but I made it as fool proof as possible.

Thanks

Believe me when I say THAT TAP aint coming loose. They are very tight, and on top of that, it has a safety clip. On top of that it slit the wires and it is in there tight. I also TAPED it with Black wire tap to make it look more OEM, since the BLUE was really visible.

Check you PM by the way........

If it has 4 tabs on it then it's SPST (single pole single throw). It has one NO (normally open) contact which closes when power is supplied to coil.
5 tabs, SPDT (double throw) there is a NC (Normally closed) contact included.

But I mean the HID wiring schematic you got on page 4, that is not that easy to do with Paintbrush. Very hard. Would be alot easier if you had a program like VISIO, where you just drop the icons and then make lines.

ok, my question is to 2maxguy, Is your setup like ICEY2K1's where when u turn your high beams on, the lows stay on too? or is it like BigdogJonx's where I think that the low's turn off. or did he fix that already, sorry about the stupid question.

Nope both writeups allow for the HID to stay lit while the HB are on.
