I live in NYC. I'm thinking of buying a maxima gle, but am worried that thieves will try to steal the Bose radio. So I might go for the gxe. Do thieves have a knack for stealing Bose radios from cars?

I don't *think* there's a large market for the factory head unit in the "Bose sound system" (the head unit is actually made by Clarion).

I think you're better off with the Bose sound system rather than getting a GXE and buying an aftermarket stereo though, and the Bose will sound a lot better than the non-Bose factory option.

yeah...

the Bose is very good for stock. The main reason I'm not ditching it for a very high end setup is theft. I like decent sound without worrying about where I park. Been there, hate that.
