2000 -2001 MAF New part number
2000 -2001 MAF New part number
I didn't find this by searching so I'll post it. I talked to a Nissan tech today about a P0171 code I just got on my '01 AE. He said 90% of the time it's the MAF. He said Nissan has a new MAF out that is much cheaper than the original one. It's part number 22680-2Y001. I'ts $78 on line from Rosenthal! That's huge difference.
He said if you swap it out, you'll need to have your ECM re-programmed and acoording to him "you'll have a whole new car" in terms of performance.
Take a look at the following TSB that talks about the ECM re-program. http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb/NTB02-051a.pdf.
I'll give it a shot and let you know how it works out.

I like your mindset.

Thats what I'm talking about! You handled the situation very well. Most people just start whining and crying.
