Just Got My 2k2 Today

Just Got My 2k2 Today

i got my 2k2 finally
i got the gle model fully loaded with everything but the navigation system. the dealer is yet to put the spoiler on . the car has such a good response to the gas pedal. on the first day i drove from new york (queens) to atlantic city and back for the h*ll of breaking the car in. and i didnt even press the gas half way and i was taking off.
anywayz i will have pics up asap.\\

how many miles should i go before i start flooring it?

Well I say 500miles if fine for breaking in the car. I my car break in before i got it cause the dealer had to drive it up from South Carolina to DC. According to him, it was the only Black/Black 2K1 with what I wanted in it, and the next one was in Dallas TX.

You aren't supposed to do highway driving to break a car in. 1000 miles before you start beating it.

Breaking a car in includes avoiding driving in the same gear at a constant speed for an extended period of time, such as cruising on the highway. People suggest driving at different speeds and changing gears often and avoiding using the cruise control. Also try to keep the RPM's below 5000 rpm.
