Sunroof opening at random

Anyone have this problem? Sometimes when I start the car the sunroof opens, and other times I'll just be driving and it'll open. I'm guessing the switch is faulty, but thought I'd check here before I go buying parts. Thanks

The switch is bad. I belive a TSB is out there about it.

yeah, lol. POS haha. Mine worked fine until the car sat for a long time, now it's possessed. Beating the **** out of it will help you get it to close if it doesn't want to.

Go to your local Stealership... spend $36.00 and buy a new switch...

Let me guess, when you click auto up it goes all the way up and then comes back down about 5", right?

Very common problem. I found a procedure someone wrote on how to reset the controls, no need to replace. Just can't find my old shortcut...
