Does this seriously need a new thread? I would post the question here... http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....365289&page=87 and delete this thread to save from some flamming that you might receive.

if it takes you more then two hours, put the tools down, call a tow truck and pay some to do it and don't try to do the work yourself anymore

It took me 45 minutes the last time but thats because I was on the phone alot and had to eat lunch

if your doing the driver not to long with the right tools. The passenger one can be a major pita if the bracket is stuck, which it probably is.

Excluding jacking the car up, yes this is true. But I have to use the scissor jack to jack up one side in order to fit my floor jack underneath my car, so it takes a little time....

And everyone saying to start a new thread, . Get over it. It's a flipping forum not a database, and if someone has a question this is where they come.

if your taking the whole axle out, make sure u have a catch bucket under your tranny because the fluid will leak out and it smells horrible and makes a mess. also make sure you have some fluid to fill her back up with. not sure if this is a problem for auto's, but deff for a manual.
