Engine Block

There used to be a company that was producing high performance 3.5 engine blocks. Does anyone know the name of the company or if its still operating?

Nissan VQ35DE (350Z-G35) High Performance Short Block 3.5L The Cosworth VQ35DE high performance short block is the perfect foundation for your high performance application. Each High Performance Short Block is hand assembled by one of Cosworth’s skilled engine builders to exact specifications utilizing all new components and is available in either high compression 11:1 or low compression 8.8:1 for turbo or supercharged applications. To ensure smooth operation throughout the entire RPM range, each rotating assembly is carefully balanced, an essential requirement for high performance VQ35s. Additionally, comprehensive build sheet listing all critical dimensions is included. Use with our CNC ported Big Valve Cylinder Heads for maximum reliable performance.

According to nissan, both the 30 and 35 can handle up to 12 lbs of boost. Honestly why would you want more then that. After 10 lbs your just crazy cause of torque steer issues and the car being a FWD.

Besides numerous sources around here on the org and on the internet have said that the most you could or should possibly run before seriously considering replacing internals, is at 12 lbs.

Kinda off topic... How Bada$$ could a N/A VQ be??

Would a Brian Cower 4.15L Stroker Kit(or Jun 3.8L) along with built internals, fuel delivery, ECU etc...($10,000-$15,000 worth of goodies)Do you any good for a N/A application??

Or is a Stroker Kit Specfically usefull for Forced Induction???
