does anyone know the correct install kit for an aftermarket single din radio... the metra kit doesnt work at all. i heard somewheres about the bezel for another model maxima that works. just trying to figure which one it is. also has anyone did an install for an amp on their max? if so where did you feed the power cable through the firewall at?

the audio forum is in the same place it has always been...dont act like you knew where it was before but the site getting screwed up made you lose it.

I used GXE dash and fed the power through firewall and ran it all the way to the trunk using door sills and hiding it under the carpet

i have the metra 1 and installed plenty of them & neva had a problem. met 99-7416 (i think) they have 2 for this 00-03 maxima u need the 1 that only works this year the other kit say it work a # of nissan
