Well, my Optima Red Top just died after four years. I had the guys at Sears double check it and they said it wouldn't hold a charge. So I got the Die Hard Gold with the three year warranty for about $115. They tried to sell my the Die Hard Platinum but I didn't want to spend $198!?! I could have gotten another Optima but at least I know if I have any problems with the Gold I can take it back to Sears under conditions of the warranty. And they are less than 5 minutes from where I work.
