Raced a 96 Cougar

Raced a 96 cougar. It has the 4.6l V-8, with exhaust done to it. We raced from a dead stop. I had a lot of wheel spin. We were side by side until about 30, then I just left him behind. Shut down at a 100mph and he was way back there.

Going to see if I can get my co-worker to race me in his 2000 Eclispe GT 5-spd. Will let you know how I do.

Nice Kill. Always fun to bounce a V8 ... no matter how off kilter the odds are.

96 Cougar..thats an old bodystyle..last year those were made..a Thunderbirg/Licoln Mark platform..they're heavy car. Anyone raced against a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with 5 spd?

Man no offense, but I probably would've let him win since that 96 Cougar is a POS to me. But then again he may start bragging about it, so........
