like this
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=332187

basically use like 800 grit sandpaper soaked in soapy water and sand very lightly. no pressure. then move up to 1000, 1500, 2000. and for 2000 i did it med pressure and got decreased it slowly. then slap on a layer of plastic x let it dry for a little and use a lot of pressure to polish those puppies out.

i used 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit, keeping the lens and the sandpaper wet throughout, then used plastX to polish.

takes about 20 min/light.

here's a before and after. it made a huge difference in how clean my front end looks.

Have you found the Lamin-X website yet? They've got yellow protectant overlays for our cars, foglights included. I've got a set of their clears, just waiting to clean up my lenses as well, before installing 'em.

the better they are the better the outcome, i think i waited a little long, but i just did them the second time and its such a great way to clean up the front of the car. if my insides were clean they would look brand new.

a few guys around the org have gotten their hands on the yellow lexus style capsules that go inside the fog light to make the light yellow, but the light lens stays clear.
