Rear Valve Cover

A few weeks ago, I noticed oil leaking from under my car. After a lil advise from my fellow org members (thanks by the way), I got under the car and noticed that my oil pan was covered with oil. I took it to the shop had an oil pan gasket installed and the problem went away. Last week, I noticed another small puddle. This time I got under the car and the oil pan was not covered in oil. I could not see oil anywhere. I researched and I see that the Rear Valve cover is another problem with the 3.5. Can anyone tell me how to get to this and if it will be easy to tell if it is leaking? I want to make sure I am looking at the right thing. Pictures of one would be perfect!!.

Also, I noticed that it only leaks after I have driven the car for a while and it has been parked for some time. I only notice it in the mornings when I get ready for work. It does not leak while I am looking for it.

i think most of the guys with the rvc leaking have replaced them with the 6th vc due to better quality and less likely to crack. call daveb, he will take care of you.

I recently had the same problem when I went in to get my plugs changed, the back plugs and coils were covered in oil, and after I took the rear valve cover I changed with the 6th gen thanks to Dave B in Austin Texas Nissan.

Follow these directions to get to the rear valve cover (might as well replace the spark plugs as well while you're back there).
