Heated Seats

I had a question, i searched i could not find anything! Now i have a '02 Gle and i wanted to know if i could add heated seats. Now would I be replacing the whole seat or will they just be putting in a motor. I figured why not get the whole thing done because my seat does not slide back or forward. Any prices or places to get it will be great. i also kind of want a stock seat. the color of my interior is latte.

So, trying to decipher the post, are you wanting to put in heated seats, power seats or both?

Do you have manual seats now?
Are you looking for someone that has an 02 Latte seat set to purchase or are you looking to get...?

well i already have powered leather seats, but the slide to the front and back doesnt work. i wanted to add the heat option. so i was thinking would it be better for me to just get a whole new seat with the heat option or just keep the existing seat and and the heat option and get the motor fixed for the back and forth to work?

You can add heated seats to any car. If you choose to keep your original seats, all they would do is remove the leather cover and install the heater pad. Im sure if you took it to an upholstry shop they can fix the motor for you as well.

dude ..it would be better to get a quote first... i think replacing the whole thing would cost much more than repairing it...

there are places online that sell heating pads, if you are handy, you can take out the leather yourself, put the heatpads in, put everything back together, run some wires to the switches and you're done. It is a tedious job but you will save $$$ doing it yourself. What year max you have?

I have the front seat motors from the 2000 se that I had for parts. LMK if you want the motors.

http://leatherseats.com/Maxima_leather_kit.asp They even mention the big ORG on there. You can also choose massager's, heater elements, wireless remotes, etc...

Did I win? What did I win, what did I win?

Good link Dazall ---!
I've been pondering this for a while now....I'd SO love heated leather seats, heated mirrors, AND heated steering wheel!
I HATE the OEM leather - it's SO not soft and supple.
Seems like SUCH a pain to install, though.
Hmpf.
gr

**Has ANYBODY purchased leather from these guys? If so - can you comment on quality of the leather / units??**
