Quick Trip Meter/Tachometer Q

Today I fired up the VQ35 after leaving the mall, and noticed the tachometer was delayed in firing up. Usually the needle moves as soon as the engine catches. Along with that, my trip meters under the odometer automatically resetted themselves.

It hasn't happened since, just that one time.

Was this just an aberration or is something wrong with my electrical system? Hope to get some quick input. Thank you. I did help a co-worker boost her car earlier in the week, but all proper steps were followed and the car starts fine.

If it happens again, then I'd probably look into it.

Otherwise, consider it a one-time quirk and don't bother.
