As some of you would remember I was the one that broke my car after I ran it the first time. I ran 15.363 @ 89mph on that very first run.
I went to the track again last night to see if I would do better. I did, this time I ran 15.236 @ 89.59mph. On my second run I did 15.527 @ 88.45mph. I missed a shift on my second run. I shifted to 3rd instead of 2nd. I'm still not used to shifting with the gated shifter.

Get those 60 ft times down and you will easily be running 15 flat probably. How are you launching?

 

What about 0-60 times? How would you compare the 2002 Auto Max vs the 2002 Altima 3.5 SE. I have no idea how quick the auto Altima is, I can't find specs anywhere.

I'm launching at almost idle...... too much rpm and I just smoke my tires throughout 1st gear.

 

Your is an auto right? Try flashing the TC. Hold in the brake hard. Mash the gas pedal and then let go of the brake a split second later. That should give you a nice launch.

seems like a stock 2002 max auto
has a strong bottom end and comparisonwise a weak top end..
tip to get a ypipe to free up that hi rpm power

 

get a stillen intake, lose some on the bottom (which is good for your situation, spinning through first) and gain some on top.. I think this mod would be nice with the Y pipe.
