Headlight Bulbs

I have the regular silverstars now, but one is burned out.

So I was wondering is anyone has tried the new sylverstar ULTRAS? If they are worth the extra money.

Or if anyone knows of some nice bulbs that are cheap. Would like to get some feedback on what others are using as replacements, that also have very good light ouput.

Thanks.

They throw off a nice bright light for visibility, but if you're looking for a blueish tint, it's not there.

i've got brand new piaa 9003 xtreme white plus bulbs for sale.
Brand new
$50 shipped.

I bought them for my max but when i got my ebay projectors those convert the bulbs to h3's instead of 9003. So i have no use for these.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that everyone could use the search option now. I haven't been on here in a while.

My goal isn't to go for a blue or whiter color, I just wanted better visibility and performance.

Thanks for the feedback though.

I replaced my wifes silverstars with the ultras and yes there is a difference. The ultras cast a bright white and visibility is much improved. She doesnt see well at night when driving and the ultras helped a lot

you have to remember hold old the light is when you replace it. All lights gradually burn out over time and they get dimmer. So when you replace lights it always seems like a drastic difference. If they were brand new and you were swapping out, that would give a much better comparison.... and be a nice waste of money. I liked my silverstars personally. I went to an HID kit and I'm not that impressed. They are terrific but not as big of a jump from silverstars as I was hoping.
