What is the maximum speed you guys have driven

guys what is the max speed you guys have done using a '01 max with 5 speed manual? i am just curious. I used to do 110(cos thats the most the car would allow) and maintain that on my old taurus when I am on road trips. But the RPM on my max is pretty high on 5th gear. So I wonder how fast can my max go for a long period of time.

143 on a closed farm road for 4.2 miles. Twice once to the end of the road and then back.

I've done 135mph for 25 miles 4 times, while bouncing off the speed limiter.. I assume that's not a good thing to do, that's why I haven't done it in a while. I can't wait to get rid of that limiter..

I-5 and I-280 are two good spots to do high speed runs.

I went about 100-110 for about 6 hours across Wyoming and Nebraska on I-70. I also had a great tailwind and got 26MPG for that time. Didn't see one Police man the whole time. Everyone goes that fast through that area.

I like to catch the HOV lane right before it closes at night and I do 130 all the way home ~20 miles. 1 lane, no cops, no traffic

Did you know they're worth 5 points each... 2 if they have a back pack because they run slower.

The fastest I have been is 145. I did 140 last weekend.

On my trip to Kansas City, there is a long *** toll road, 150+ miles worth of it, going up there on 35N. Anyways, after we entered traffic was doing 90~ and it was very open. No entraces, no cops, passport ready. Drove all the way on that at 125~ mph the full length with one stop for restroom and gas. It ate my whole tank of gas I had

here in SoCal we're not allowed to go past 65mph because of a speed limiter put as per new regulations of speed laws. we follow the road signs here in Los Angeles.
