Finally had the cat back exhaust installed. Installation was fairly simple for the muffler shop except for the rusted bolts, which took 75% of the install time. The quality of the exhaust is perfect. Very clean welds and the flanges look great. Only problem was the piping was hitting the crossmember which was taken care of by the shop after welding an additional hanger in that area to slightly lift the exhaust.

So far, I love the agressive sound which isn't obnoxious at all during normal driving or on the highway. It's a bit louder than stock during idle and just music to the ears once you hit the gas.

Here's the sound clip of the MR catback. Other mod installed is the Berk WAI:

Nice. Sounds just like mine. And yes it will get deeper when you break it in.

Nice soundclip! I bet it sounds even better under load. I'm pretty much sold on this exhaust, and think I'll be getting it in a week or so.

Please do a video clip of sound inside the car at different speeds. I'm interested in any highway drone at 60-80 mph. I have a Warpspeed Y-pipe and hollowed cat, so I'm afraid of the highway drone driving me crazy. thx

I'll let this live for now and then merge into the Exhaust clip thread in a week or two. The rest of you, take it to PM if you have a problem or just report the posts to the moderators.

Another clip coming soon. With one week gone by the exhaust sounds a bit deeper and louder. Best thing I like with this exhaust is the lack of drone when cruising at exactly 70mph. Definitely a well made exhaust!

hmm for some reason I thought I remembered sooner bashing this thread all over... Did you delete those posts puppetmaster? Good taste, if so.

Anyway, that sounds great, but I have plans down the road to get headers/ypipe and I have a funny feeling it'd turn out really loud if the exhaust is already making that much sound.

Yes, I cleaned the thread up, but let's not bring that up again, shall we?

The Megan sounds great, IMO, but with headers, let me warn you it will be MUCH louder.

Once again, for those who haven't already seen this, headers + b-pipe + MR rear:

Will this sound clean with an automatic? Or will it sound like any other automatic with an exhaust? ( ricer)
