I have used the search feature and did find any updated information on the radio controls for a 2000 max. Does anyone have any more information on this? Is this something that can be done or has anyone done it?

Hasn't been done yet. A few members are still extremely intersted (Myself being one) and one or two are trying to make it happen. In speaking with Dave, it's not going to be very possible to get what you need from Nissan. They say you need a different wiring harness in the column and/or the dash, as well as a different steering wheel; possibly a different head unit?

Anyway, have heard someone is getting the actual switch that mounts on the wheel and they are going to try and make their own wiring. Let's hope that happens!

 

If it could be done with just the new steering wheel, I'd go for that. I like the Nissan emblem on the 2K2 wheel anyway. Isn't the 2K2 wheel heated, though...there's got to be some differences in harnesses.

 

Already looked into that one as well. Unfort., the cost of the new wheel includes the airbag that apparently comes with it - that's got to be at least a grand right there! And definitely not a HP mod!
