I just installed my Centerforce Dual-friction clutch. I was wondering if anyone else has this part installed?? It kinda feels soft on the way down but whips right back, is this cause I need to break it in for 500miles first? Info appreciated!

Bad choice for a clutch, a real bad choice. The pedal will get a little stiffer once you break it in. I hope you have better luck then I did with it .

if you dont baby it for the first 500 miles (thats STOP and GO miles) you will destroy the clutch.

this means no more than 1/2 throttle and shifting @ >4000 rpm.

that is why people have failure...improper break-in.

it will stiffen up as it breaks in.

my 60' dropped from 2.4 sec to 2.2 sec by installing this clutch.
and that was on HEAVY 19" rims.

i was supercharged and beat the snot out of the clutch with 5500rpm launches all the time....and it held up nice.
