Keyless Entry Remote

Ok so I just bought a 2001 GXE and I want to get the keyless entry remote for it and it has the stock security light in the dash but when I was looking under the hood I saw that there was a spot on the relay box that says Keyless and when I looked inside there was nothing in that slot.So my question is should there be a relay for the remote to work or is that for something else?

just get a used one from ebay for like 15 bux. its gonna cost you close to $100 for a new one. Also, check the classifieds on this forum, someone is usually selling a used remote.
