ok i have an 03 max and my passengers side headlight went out, i checked the fuse, and it was ok, i changed the bulb and it still didnt work. So i switched the ballast from the pass side to the drivers side and it didn work so i fugured just the ballast is bad. But when i put the good drivers side ballast on the pass side, it still didnt work So does this mean i have a bad relay or somehing and a bad ballast??? Also i dont have the original headlights i have the factory DEPOT replacement headlights like on Ebay, does anyone know where i can get a replacement from, or should i just cop a $80 ballast from ebay and splice it HELP

 

Check to see if there is power at the wires before the ballast, check all under hood fuses and relays

 

i tested the input and there was no power, i believe its the headlight relay, does anyone know where i can get a headlight relay from, besides the dealer, ive been looking all over the net and nuthing

 

Look in the class section. There are a couple of guys parting out.

Look guy you got 4 fuses for your headlights 1 for each HID and 1 for each Hi-beam. You also have 2 headlight relays 1 for each HID! Swap them and see if your problem transfers to the drivers side! Do you have a test light or volt-ohm-meter? if so it's time to pull it out! If swapping the relays doesn't work, test those fuses.......
