Just wanted to warn you guys

ok i had an UDP on my car, i forgot what brand it was but i know it wasn't unorthodox. anyways it had the timing plate screwed into the back of it. my car was on the dyno last week and we were just doing one more nitrous pass to back up the numbers, and well the timing plate came off. here's a pic of it.

now i'm not trying to scare people away from these, but i will say don't get one where the ring is screwed into the back. make sure it's machined into the pulley like the stock one is. i got very lucky that the one screw that did come out didn't damage my timing cover and that ring just let go from the other three screws and didn't cause anymore damage. all i got was a light scuff on my timing cover nothing horrible.
so just make sure you get a quality UDP and not a crap one like i did.i know i bought it used off an .org member but i have no idea what the brand is. if i could remember i would be making a call.
thanks for reading my rant

Isn't that the motorstorm one? I recall a few people finding the timing ring bolts had come loose. I don't think the MS UDP has been sold in several years though....
