Sunroof anger

When I have the sunroof open in any way, whether fully open or tilted, it makes noise. It is a loud "banging" noise, like something inside (between the roof and the headliner) is flopping around in there. Especially at high speeds, it is very noticeable and have had to close it due to the extreme noise. Has anyone had a similar issue and/or does anyone have any experience completely disassembling the sunroof assembly? I'm asking this before I look at the FSM as previous experience would be more appreciated. Thanks.

when you have the sunroof open or tilted up, can you move it by hand?

And is this a real bang, or just some rattling?

There is a bit of play when the sunroof is tilted up.
I'll get a sound clip of it. It is a continous banging when going at high speeds. It's really noticeable when I'm on the highway. When I'm cruising around and drive over bumps, it sounds like metal on metal contact towards the rear of the roof.
