My car won't stay on help please!!

Strage problem with my car
Well its every maxima owner's experience once or twice. My car won't stay on. It starts up and runs for about 4 seconds and then bogs down and shuts off. If you give it gas it dies out right away. If I unplug the MAF it stays on but then dies off when it gets warm or if you give it gas.
The first suspicion was my fuel pump. It was not that.
I changed the MAF and it made no difference.
I then thought the fuel dampener may be blocking the fuel from going into the rail. I took the dampener off the rail and put it into a bottle and cranked the car.....lots of fuel there.
I then checked the return side where the FPR is and I am getting lots of gas there also.
I swapped the cam sensor on the timing cover and it made no difference.
Tomorrow I will swap the 2 crank sensors and see if it helps any.
I will also take a vice grip and pinch the fuel line on the return side, maybe the FPR is letting all the fuel out and not building any pressure which I doubt but its worth a shot.
I will also check the fuse for the fuel injectors.
I will also use another key to start it, maybe its the immobilizer.
What else could be causing this problem?
BTW the car is a 2000 with a pathfinder TB, if that helps any.
I have been doing alot of searching and reading, the forum has been very helpful.

uh maybe sounds dumb and simple, but my car shut off multiple times before i realized that one side of the battery terminal was loose...maybe check that, and corrosion around the connections can cause it too

I checked everything out and for some reason when my maf is plugged in the car won't stay on. It seems like the injectors are not clicking when the maf is plugged in. When I unplug the maf it starts up and stays idle..........its driving me nuts. This all happened when I cut the supply line and out a fuel pressure gauge in line.......I dont think that made any difference.

^ yes......it was working fine then just shut off when I had it idling one day after I installed my fuel pressure gauge. I checked everything, the last idea I have is to change the plug for the MAF and see if that fixes it........

unplugging the MAF triggers a MAF sensor open circuit so ECM runs with pre programmed values. You have swapped cam sensors u said. Is that with other Max sensors as some leak oil inside and faults them causing it to shut off.
Can you see A/f mixture while running?
NATS problem will start and shut off in half a second. Also Security light will blink.
Crank sensor usually won't start at all.
Any codes?
Have you touched your throttle body tubing? Check that all clamps are tight. You would see lean condition on scanner
A fuel pressure test may be a long shot as it might pump gas to start but not to run motor once you rev and needs more gas.
