Clearly My Tranny Rebuild Failed...

I had my tranny rebuilt about two months ago and now its acting up again. Before the rebuild I lost 1 and second gears and reverse, my car is a 4 speed auto.

Just recently there are times where the car seems to have a dramatic loss in power and im pretty sure its tranny related. for example from a stand still ill start rolling then if i floor the car the revs go to 2,000 then start going down? then i fell the tranny doing something i really dont know, some kind of strange lurching i could only describe as sitting in the car with someone driving stick who shakes their car a whole lot off a start.
also if i accidently tap the overdrive button and then turn it off the same problem occurs, strange shifting and loss of power. the problem can be temporaily fixed by simply restarting the car. this leads me to believe it could be wire related? or possibly the torque converter.

i dont really know hence why im asking you guys. and the only code im pulling is for the cat.

Sounds like it is low on fluid or something is clogging up the pump. Get the shop to make it right.

sounds like the tq converter. but check the wiring, if the stock connectors were cut, a loose wire could be the result. if your d4 flashing?

nope.

im pretty sure its a computer problem now. i was doing about 40 mph with my foot off the gas when i noticed my rpms where at idle speed, 750. normally when coasting at those speeds the rpms are at least 1,100. then i realized it was because the car was either in 2nd or 3rd because after about 25 seconds it shifted in to what im presuming was forth gear and the rpms climbed back to normal coast speeds.

Honestly, stop trying to guess at the problem and take it back to the shop.

I'll say it again, TCM.

A bad TCM can kill a tranny, until its fixed you'll keep killing trannies...

Do you really consider "mis shifts" not that big of a problem?

my cats been messed up for about a year now, could this be my problem?
