need help installing B.co LTB stg1..few ?'s

havnt attempted it yet.. just have a few?'s

1. does anyone know what size the bolt is on the LCA where the tie bar goes into? so i can buy the proper socket..

2. do i need to use an impact gun?

3. does the suspension need to be under a load?

i cant remember the exact size...its big

yes,you will need an impact

suspension needs to be under load when you tighten the bolts

wow really.. thanks.. how about i searched for a solid 20 mins because i remember matt writing about stuff and i found josh's write up and read that about his LTB2 install but that didnt answer those ?'s.. thanks though


on a serious note.. thanks sooner.. yeah that thing is big lol .. biggest i had around was 1" and that was too small lol..

1. IIRC it's a 32mm.....but keep your receipt in case I'm wrong

2. It's never a good idea to tighten bolts with an impact unless you abosolutely can't get it tight enough by hand. That said, I always use my impact on the LTB because it's hard to get alot of force lying under the car with a ratchet.

3. If you have the OEM bushings in there, you need to tighten the bolts with the car on the ground/loaded. If you have poly bushings, you can do it with the car up in the air.
