Blew 120amp fuse, put in 100amp fuse
Just inserted another 120amp fuse after driving around with 100amp fuse instead for a couple weeks. I had to search high and low to find a 120amp fuse, finally found one and put it in but the radio doesn't work.
Fuse blew? and is there anything wrong with inserting a fuse of a lower amps than the required.
I'm speaking of the battery fusebox.

You shouldnt use a lower amperage fuse, if anything you should use a bigger one, not to big....5 amps more than what stock is is ok but anything higher than that can cause damage...i suggest if you are speaking of the fuse connected to the positive terminal on the battery you get one from the stealership

You don't get it.
I didn't get the 100amp fuse becuase I was being cheap, I got the fuse because I had to change the battery and it in the process I popped the fuse, the only fuse they had was a 100amp fuse so I used that instead.
In the process, the radio doesn't come on.

it should be fine. using a 100 amp fuse instead of a 120 amp is not a problem if anything it is a good thing. Now if you used a 120 amp in place of a 100 amp that would be a problem.
