quick air intake question
Quick air induction question: Will a 2004 Maxima (3.5L) Injen cold air intake bolt up the same way to an '02? or with the body-style change of 6th gen does this change the fitment ability of the intake for a 5.5 gen and make it non-compatable?
thanks!
thanks!

A few weeks ago, installing an Injen in a Z33 (or a V35, I forget now...Z33 I believe though) and they had welded the damn MAF boss backwards. Apparently who ever was working that day thought the arrow indicated it should face forward, vs what it actually meant; direction of airflow.

Yeah Nmexmax it sucks a good 10-12 whp gain on my 03 auto! The filter could be in a better position and not get heat soaked by the radiator fans! So since it was in that situation I chose to thermal wrap from the MAF down to the filter and also install an anti heat thermal sleeve and my intake stays pretty cool....

I would love to give you the the DYNO RESULTS! Please remember I'm in Houston, TX We have sea level air pressure and 93 octane fuel....The day I performed the dyno runs was 67 degrees super low humidity and a beautiful day! Our air has set many records in the NHRA and this place is known for that thick *** air (Houston Raceway Park)...Now back to me! My intake is thermal wrapped and I have a Cool It Sleeve over that (double insulated). I also have a air access port in the radiator core support for the filter! I do have the dyno sheet and I'll have to get a friend to take a picture of it and post it...ASAP!

AAM angled FTW. of course I work there, but it's also a very nice product, great gains for the price...our price, that is...
Now he says he's test driving an M3 this weekend
Nevermind, I got the RU.
You're comparing lower plenums and spacers now...
