people would be singing their praises on here if that were true

while on the topic of ads though... how about that K&N air intake ad that says it gives over 20+ horsepower to corvettes and mustangs... is there something about big engines that makes intakes add so much power?

Corvette intakes are pretty restrictive to keep the noise levels down (wouldn't want to upset the gold chain crowd). However, I have a couple Z06 customers who've replaced their stock intakes with cold air intakes and both said the difference is noticable.

The intake on my Accord was horribly restrictive too, going to the AEM cai definitely gave me stronger midrange and top end.

There are times I look at this and think it is a fluke, or who knows what, but I gained 22whp when the only change was my base timing and a POP charger.
