Can the outside lamps be user-replaced, without too much trouble?

E.g. side lamps, turn signals, rear brake lights, backup lights, headlights, etc?

I don't mean the full assemblies, just the "bulbs".

 

yeop.. definatley... just turn the socket one direction and it'll come out.. (for the headlights and tails) for the side markers please refer to your owners manual.. there are clear sidemarkers available for the 2k-2k1 maximas.. i'm not sure if those will fit on the 2k2.. they do look the same tho.. best way is to check the part numbers on both years and see if they match..

 

The clear side markers do fit from 00-01 to the 02. I did it on mine when I purchased the 02 out in the parking lot.
