Exhaust fitment question

Hey members of Maxima.org,

I'm looking at changing the axle back on my '01 Maxima, and was wondering if there's gonna be any issues with fitment because of the 20AE's full lip kit.

Thanks,

Moncef

Unless you get a huge tip...You'll be fine. To make sure of that, take measurements of new unit and your rear bumper.

Yeah, I am avoiding the big ricer tip, kinda going for the dual tip design on the HKS/Cattman exhausts.

Thanks.

I think the AE bumper has the same width outlet, it only sits down further, so anything that fits an A33 will fit your AE.

So don't think you're too special now.

Excellent. Now I just need to find one that sounds good.

So don't think you're too special now.
Aw...whatever exclusivity the 20AE has gained me was lost in that statement.

my exhausts seem very low, there is a huge gap between tips and bumper.

Ae's and I30's don't have that exhaust tip cut out on their rear bumper cover. It's even all the way across... That's why they have the turned down tips! Oh yeah that muffler is worth 5 extra hp!
