dealer service sucks!

Just wanted to b!t@h about the service I recieved yesterday...I took in my car to have it detailed, check the driver rear window for weird noice and have the front bra installed....when I came back at around 5:30....I noticed that they didn't fully polish off the wax on the rear and front of the car and they also forgot to install the bra You pay all this money and you get sucky service ! Has anyone had the same problem ?

Re: dealer service sucks!

Getting warranty service can be like pulling teeth. The "car wash" they do always borders on making the car dirtier. Often I know more about the car than the guys who work there. Its a crap shoot.

Why didn't you just install the bra yourself?

I'm going in Saturday!

Wish me luck!

I going to a local dealer for my Maximas' FIRST time(7800 miles). I called ahead of time to see if they had everything necessary for the Fuel-Cut TSB. It only took 3-phone calls, 3-explanations, 1-hang up, and 1-no call back to finally get things taken care of.

I removed my POP intake and Hella horns, but left my 2K2 headlamps and shift light. Hopefully they don't try and blame them. I'm going to wash the car before my appointment and video tape EVERY panel, chip, scratch, etc.. along with the days newspaper, so if they scratch, ding, f#Ck up $hit it's their a$$. A little paranoid, I think not.

I got my fingers crossed!

No. TSBs are kinda like Recalls, but since they aren't a safety issue the manufacturer doesn't have to notify you.

Thanks to the ORG I actually know about it. Now I just hope it's a solution NOT a bandaid.
