power steering fluid is boiling!

what is going on? after i drove the car around for 5 minutes, i open up the hood and see the power steering fluid bubbling up. has this happened to anyone? also when i brake and come to a complete stop, my car randomly makes a rattling sound near the front passenger wheel. it is on and off. any help would be appreciated. thanks

it's not boiling. what you saw was the fluid tumbling due to high pressure, and oil doesn't boil. they smoke. as long as the level is good, it should be worry free.

check the brake and see if the disk is warpped or the pads are loose.

I would still install a powersteering cooler just in case. That little tube is good for old ladies and gentlemen, but inadequate for autocrossing or time attack.....
