Its a 5gen. I'm just asking for future reference because im expecting my tranny to go sooner than later.

So if i go with a vlsd 5.5 auto tranny i need a drivers side axle. But what about a 5gen lsd auto tranny?

There are no VLSD 5.5 autos, as I said they are all RE4F04Bs.

For any VLSD swap, including a 5MT, you need the VLSD driver's side axle.
