Umnitza Orion V2 Angel Eyes

I got mine yesterday too... Are all 4 rings the same size? I thought a pair of them were supposed to be smaller diameter like the old CCFL ones were...
I did the Home Depot clear lens back when I installed my Umnitza DDE's they work out very well... Im going to do the same with my new Headlights. You're supposed to get those Malibu replacement lights.

ya know...i just realized...there wasn't ANYTHING SPECIAL in my box
What'd u use from home depot to 'clear' the lens. do they have something that we can cut to put in?
and yea..they're all the same size-supposedly the low beam one sits a bit inside the round housing.
Not sure yet tho-anyone done these (or umnitza chime in) and know for sure?

Yeah you cut out the middle of the Malibu Lens to the same size as the Orange lens in your headlight. The orange lens simply pops out and if you cut the clear lense out to the same size it just pops right in. Matches up pretty nicely to the prking light lense right above it.

Yup they are outdoor lights... Here these are exactly the ones you need https://www.smarthome-products.com/p...bs-2-pack.aspx
You'll just need to cut them.

How did you install them? Using the 3M stuff that came with them or what? What did you do for the low beam one (someone said that you have to put it slightly inside?)?Looks pretty sweet though!
Did you do any of the optional stuff and wire them to a switch inside?

For trigger wires i just used the included quick splices and tapped right into the parking light power on the headlight plug (red wire w/yellow stripe) I can take addl pics of the wiring if needed. So this way they are on whenever the park lights/headlights are one. Looks mean with just rings and fogs. It was a little chilly and i just wanted to be done so i said screw the switch (which was my original intention).
...and thanks,
I love em

Yeah the original pics that Umnitza had posted of that black Maxima.. thats my car. I originally had the Thinline Angels in my car.. Were great at first, but you notice that they are only noticeable AT NITE.. Plus the electrical connections were not solid enough and they were too easily detached from the halo itself.. What a headache.. The New V2s.. BLOW THE THINLINES OUT OF THE STADIUM. Damn near unbreakable (within reason) and ALL LED! I wouldnt waste your on the time with the Thinlines anymore. Go V2.. The way BMW drivers look at you when u roll up on them... OOHH So Worth It!!!! Umnitza takes great care of us here on the org. Very knowledgeable and always willing to help.
