Car wants to stall when starting.

My car wants to stall once I start it up not all the time. If the car has sat for a while like for a day it starts fine. but if I go somewhere after I have been driving it will sputter then runs fine after getting started. sometimes it doesn't want to start on first try. I had the problem before and had replace a fuel line due to a damper going out. I changed that last year. Now problem the problem is back. I have 155,000+ miles on it. I got no SES light. I can hear my fuel pump kick on before I start the car and hear it when running. any info can help before taking to dealer.

Fuel injectors maybe? My neighbor's Nissan Quest did this occasionally and replacing the injectors solved the problem.

Hot restart? Look at the IACV.

what temperature outside? Maybe just experiencing cold days hard starts?

When was the last time you replaced your spark plugs?

When you say Spark plugs are good...
Do they just look good or are you getting an equal quality spark? Did you just do plugs or what else have you serviced on the spark side of this?

I know what it is. It's the fuel damper off the fuel rail. I had replaced it before when having same problems. If you smell gas under your hood that's what it is. I replaced it once before and now it's done it again. Now I want to look for aftermarket parts to redo the lines.

How did you go about diagnosing this? I have the same problem; occasionally on hot restarts my could would start up fine, then the rpms would drop like its going to stall out and then come back alive. Very rarely (twice in the 1.5 years I've owned it) has it actually stalled.

Do you always smell gas under your hood, or only when you run the car and go to start it again?

I have change the line before back in August back when I had the problem. Now I am looking at making my own line with FPR. Just figuring out what I need.
