im having trouble programming the remote I have done the search and tried the 6 pull outs in 10 seconds. but still not getting it to work can anybody give me some advice really want this remote to work I got it off another 2000 maxima that got traded into my dealership

 

The instructions I have don't mention inserting the key 6 times. Here's a copy:
Get in your car, close all doors.
Using your power lock switch , lock all doors.
Insert and remove the ignition key from ignition switch in a slow fashion, but consistent pace, removing key completely out of ignition switch each time.
When you see the hazzard lights flash, put key back in ignition switch and turn to the On postion .. Do NOT CRANK or you will have to Start over.
Hit the Lock button on remote (Hazzard lights should flash).
Note: You have to reprogram all remotes when adding a new one , if you don't your old remotes will not work.
If you are doing just one remote, turn igntion switch off, unlock door and get out and try it.
If you are doing more than one, while still inside car with key in the On position, after you have hit the Lock button on first remote and hazzard light has flashed, use master lock switch to unlock doors and relock, and then hit second remote. Lights should flash again. (Repeat if adding a 3rd remote).
After you're done, just turn key off and unlock door and get out and try. Good Luck.
