Not to be a ****, but it is a full 2.5", right (and same size on inlet and outlet)? None of that 2.43" is close enough crap that some places try to pull.

Yeah, it's 2.5". I'm not sure how much 7/100ths of an inch would really make anyway...

None, but I don't have straight piping after my test pipe. Maybe it would be different than, but you shouldn't smell anything with just the test pipe in.

I would think you might smell raw fuel, since the purpose of a catalytic converter is to burn any fuel not burned in the combustion chamber.

But then again, it may be that the engine sans cat is efficient to the point that the human nose cannot detect the unburned fuel level, yet a human undetectable level may still be an emmission issue, therefore the need for a cat?

Anyone have knowledge on this topic?

There already is a cat on the car. The test pipe replaces the second cat.
