Disconnect the battery for about 30mins and then reconnect it...
Why do you want to reset it anyways??

Does the ECU really "learn" your driving habits? Say you had a grandma driver drive your car, then you bought it off her, and you disconnect the ECU, what gains are there?

How do I reset the ECU?

To reset the ECU, simply unplug the battery for at least an hour or so. Then, start up the car and let it idle for a little bit until the engine reaches normal operating temperature. You should reset the ECU after installing new mods such as a Y-pipe.

It's STICKY-TASTIC!!

Has anyone ever noticed a difference in perfromance after resetting their ECU post Mods? I installed a Y-Pipe and Intake on my Max awhile back but never reset the ECU. Just want to know if this is something that needs to be done or if ECU learns as time goes on.

I think the ECU will eventually adjust even if you don't reset the ECU...
