Just plugs..

I know this topic has been beat to death but everything im searching is rather old.

I have the 03 SE SPD and I see that NGK is the way to go. Everyone recently has been talking platinum but everyone also(in the older topics) said the copper is better "spark." The copper I also read will also last longer?

I'm all stock(except I advanced the timing to 17) so +1 cooler plugs should be fine (.004) if I'm reading right?

I guess im wondering if I should go with the platinums or coppers (+1) cooler plugs. I know people will say it personal preference but I just want to make sure im understanding what im doing and reading through search correctly. Also where is a decent online site. I'm going to go search now for ngk plugs but figure I'd get some responces for which to get, platinum or copper then search for a place to buy them after.

TIA-TT

You are in the completely wrong section of this site. Keep stock plugs until you are ready to play with the big boys (nitrous, boost).

only reason posted there because more topics in search were found under turbo/supercharged. Sorry for the inconvience.

Save problems of any kind get the Platinums. Depending on your mileage you might as well order an 04+ rear valve cover

Get iridiums, they last the longest. Since the intake has to come off to get the rear plugs, why change them any more than you have to?
