'01 with 120k and no problems really.

Oil change every 3k with Chevron 5W30
MAF replaced at 108k
Bose sub cut in and out, replaced with Infinity 12dVQ
Bose tape deck chirped like a bird was inside of it. Alpine fixed that
Driver's seat leather has three small tears

No cars are perfect, mine has its foibles and I agree that your problems seem to be from lack of maintenance.

that is unusual.....84K on my 02 SE and looks like new inside and out and runs great ....the air conditioner is working fine....although I barely use it....more so for passengers than myself.....I prefer to roll down the windows.....

Sounds like it wasn't maintained very well. My leather was still mint when I sold it at 125k miles.

not sure why your having these issues, i had 200K on my 98 before i did a motor swap, and i had a couple common issues, like knock sensor, rear caliper seizing, and strut mounts, which was caused my be lowering the car too much.

I am on my second '02 maxima right now (flipped my SE), but both had no problems with interior at all. AC though I will agree with you. My first one had its motors fail but I repaired it. My 2nd maxima also has the same problem as my se. Going to get it fixed right now otherwise both at 117k miles and the leather and carpeting is perfect.

Doesn't sound like you're the original owner! Come on man hole in carpet where your heel sets...Sound like you should've been using some mats, that a/c thing sounds like maybe that car was wrecked or just driven hard...as far the seats go, ghetto *** people can tear up some **** real easy....My 330,000 mile Nissan Hardbody doesn't have torn seats yet! My 1986.5 Hardbody is probably more solid than most Maxima owner's that don't take care of their rides!
